Blogs spam

Hi

Blogs keeps accusing me of submitting spam on my own site. I edited a blog 2 times and now its locked me from posting blogs because its accusing me of spamming. How do I change this and stop it from happening to other people? members should be able to submit blogs and edit them without being accused of spamming and prevented from posting, is there a balance between spam prevention and being able to re-edit your content?

Also my account is blocked from sending spam, which is actually content, so how do i unlock this? and for other people too?

In the past, there was special DNSBL rule (primarily for testing purposes) which blocked anyone. Could you please provide screenshot of your page at Admin Panel > Antispam Tools > DNS Blocklists.

Also, you can identify which particular antispam system blocked you by checking logs, at

Admin Panel > Antispam Tools > DNS Blocklists > Log

Admin Panel > Antispam Tools > URI DNS Blocklists > Log

Admin Panel > Antispam Tools > Akismet > Log

Admin Panel > Antispam Tools > Stop Forum Spam > Log

Admin Panel > Antispam Tools > Stop Forum Spam > Log

in the end i had to remove the anti spam protection. I believe this to be something that should be looked into. There has to be a way for admin to unblock someone without it being so difficult. I checked all those logs, My account was not on it, nor was my ip, yet I still got that message and was unable to post anything until i completely removed the spam protection which leaves me manually removing spam and that is just awful especially when they post 200 threads of spam per spam bot. the message it sends says, 'please submit a false positive', however if there is no way to remove the block how do we do anything about it? Not all posts as I found out will be spam. and why didn't my IP arrive on the anti spam logs?

ah I tell a lie!

that is the IP blacklist. Pockets and admin are me. So how do i actually remove my blocked IP address? There has to be a button to remove my blocked IP and other peoples IP's that are not meant to be blocked.

I am looking at this in the IP blacklist system and wondering if this is the unblock thing, but with no description ir instructions on the page i don't really know.

what is:

'From' ?

'To' ?

'IP role'  i assume means to allow, block ect

'Expiration Date'  what is this if  'From' and 'To' are not the date when to block from and when not to block from?

'Description' ? I assume this means to write something like "this is a big spammer"

Now where do I put the IP address? how does it know what IP address I need to modify? Can you see where I am coming from here? This is an important part of site security and its highly confusing with absolutely no directions or destruction's might be more to the point.

It would be easier to understand you if you would make screenshot of the whole page, not just part of. It looks like you are viewing "STORED LOGGED MEMBERS IPS" which means what it says - it's log of meber's IPs.

From, To

These are IP addresses, if you hover your mouse over the info icon it will show that it's IP

IP Role

This is self-explanatory, block is to block, allow is to whitelist

Description

You understand this properly.

There will be a problem here! Because PHP's "ip2long" function does not support IPv6, Therefore, users who use IPv6, the recorded IP address content will be all "0"
