 If I scoot blocks into the order I'd like them to appear, they stay that way as long as I don't re-eneter that page in the builder. If I do, they scramble up on me again. How to lock them down?
I don't believe it's a browser issue, I'm using Chrome for all my edits & all else seems to be working OK. |
Take a look in your database table. You'll see each block listed there, along with an associated column and the order the block displays on a page. You can manually edit this, then refresh your admin page builder page and hopefully things will remain stable for you. |
If you manually rearrage the table, then go in and make an adjustment in the Admin Page, the Admin page will rewrite the Tables. Reason: Because the tables are stored in a cached file that gets rewritten when you move/adjust anything.
Clear out the cached files (delete them NO effect on the tables and such this way) and then go in and arrange them as you want them, this will cause the file to be written again and then it should be the way you want. If it keeps erring out let us know and we'll look at it a little deeper. |
