Block Styling

As I said in the intro I just posted, I am new to Dolphin, so a few of my questions may be kinda no-brainers until I get up to snuff.

I am coming into Dolphin from Joomla, and I am now working on a 6.1.6 site. I have played with firebug, and see how thngs layout, and I am particularly curious about the blocks in PageBuilder.

I do not currently see a way to easily style each block as desired, or differently from the others.

For example, in Joomla when you create a module (similar to the blocks), there is a field to add a suffix to the module class to allow specific styling. So a normally styled module would be class="module", a module with the suffix -highlight would be styled class="module-highlight" in the code.

Is there an easy way to make this happen that I am missing?

If not, is there a difficult way?

Thank you very much! *smiles*

No easy way. You will want to play with templates to get an idea of how to change the page and block design of any particular page. There are lots of free templates about, you might want to try www.expertzzz.com for some. One you have got one, here is a link on how to set up a new template http://www.jamestadeo.com/dolphin/boonex-dolphin-tutorial-how-set-up-dolphin-template.php. Have a play around and it will soon become apparent on how to create your own.

Excellent. That is one thing I had not really found enough information on, was template styling. I like getting into templates and picking them apart to see how they are put together.

That's how I learned templating for Joomla.

Many thanks!
