We all are excited that he has finally gone to his maker and will receive punishment for what he has done to God's children, but Mag is right, this may cause a "HUGE BACKLASH" resulting in more frequent attacks to all their enemies, and well since we got his body, they can not bury him the way their culture does and they wont take it lying down. Put on your hard hats, and "Don't Fly or go to places where lots of Americans hang out cause they coming after us soon over this.

Watch the President's speech, bin laden was not Muslim, he was a mass murder of Muslims as well as the Taliban in which he commanded. Our war is NOT against the Islamic. It was him and his followers.

I wasn't referring to a backlash. I was referring to the fact that taking out one person doesn't change anything when we're talking about a large organization. I applaud the capture and slaying of Osama Bin Laden (though I would have preferred him captured, alive, to face trial), but it's nothing to get overly excited about.

And what do you mean he's going to recieve punishment? He's dead. I'm sure you can bring a herd of sheep to walk over his head, but that's not really a punnishment to someone who's deceased.

They report he was killed while resisting using a human shield..a woman. We of course wanted him alive! [EDIT] NOT!

I'm not referring to what actually played out. If the situation called for it, he should have been taken out, and he was. But if the situation allowed for capturing and detaining, that of course would have been the best choice.

I've been wondering what we're going to do with his body.  No one will want it, except for those that would enshrine it.  My first thought was to take it to a taxidermist, and make some sort of museum display out of it.... maybe with a rock wall backdrop, and a cameraman. I don't know if anyone would pay to see it though.

I wasn't saying that you thought a back lash. I meant that, but agree with the fact that this will not bring the troops home faster. And as for his punishment, well if you are not a strong believer in God then you would not understand. There is NO Hell, so people saying he is with Satan is too funny. We NEVER die, we are energy that lives on and on, in many different lives.

We all have the right to believe in what we want. As for praying for you, I promise I wont. I do not believe in the Bible myself as you are right it is Man written. But I do believe in God in my own way.  I am not going to get into a holy war on here, so I have said my peace...

How about doing a "Jimmy Hoffa" on him and mix him in with the concrete they use to build the new World Trade Center.

Actually, I like the taxidermy idea.  Then display him in the Museum of Natural History being chewed up by T-Rex!

Even if they did take him alive, they would say he was dead. I think he had too much information to give for them to kill him. However, Al-Qaeda would have done everything to get him released, hence buried (at sea) so very quickly.
