Can any one tell me how to allow all connections to an rms server, this is on an internal network for testing and I dont use typical .com addressing, so cant connect using access.dat , I thought just using ip addresses would suffice but it doesn't, would like to just open it up so as not to have to hassle with addressing in access.dat thanks

why can you not connect using the access.dat
if you set the ports and those ports are open on your network, then calling those ports from the flash apps settings should set the course for the RMS connection, not sure why you would say you cant use the access.dat

!mainly because it sys to put com in access.dat. my sitw address is http://dolphin. No .com wasnt connecting. So just figured it was the way to go. Im using an amahi server so could be other issues..just wanted to get any domain connection issues first. Then move to others since the port show open.

Its working now, it was other issues, installed on different server in network and it works great... prob firewall on the other one, it doesn't use iptables.. thanks |
