Beta Release

I would like to know when beta version will be release?

No one knows that, the software is still in Alpha development.  Even if Andrew came in and said that the first Beta; and know that Betas are still development versions, not production versions so they still should not be for an actual live site... even if Andrew came in and said the first Beta release will be January 31, 2016 that does not mean it will happen because Andrew can not predict what issues will come forth.  He may decide at some time in the future for a prospective release date of the first beta but it still may slip; just look at how many huge software companies have missed release dates.

I wish this whole Dolphin U Alpha release had never happened because Andrew has really screwed things up by doing it.

When it's ready.

Keep in mind that alpha, beta, and RC releases are not for a production site. There seems to be talk of upgradeable pre-releases, but this is still a bad idea for anything beyond test sites.

Guys, calm down please with Dolphin U for now, it's not even Alpha, it's just a skeleton of the future system, nothing to test really there for us yet. It may take a couple years in order to get some stable release.

Some of my customers are saying that they are not going to purchase D7.x modules and offers from the market until Dolphin U is released. Well, If you are ok to stay without business until some_cool_tool_you_heard_of will be released, it's your live and your choice. When Dolphin U time will come, your project ideas for it will appear to be old and outdated.

You'll have a sharp axe in your hands, but your wood got rotted by this time.

If I want something, I will break thru the wall with bare hands to get it right now, not spending my time waiting for a hammer.

Recap: Dolphin U is far away from final release. It's already been discussed numerous times here. If you want to do something, do it with what you have right now and you'll succeed.

Maybe we should not start such topics again please to not confuse other people's "hopes"?
