Hi.

First: This is a great module!

Why no entrys from buyers here? Because there are no bugs or Problems 

But we have any wishes and ideas.

1. as contactinfo we can insert tel, fax, website but NO email!?! Why?

2. Can only cathegories show that have entrys? So all cats with no entrys are not shown...

3. When a bandmember is member of the site, we will link to there local profile. there must be a new databasefield with the link to the memberprofile.

More come when we have testet a little bit more

Is there a problem installing the Bands Mod and the Song Contest Mod on the same Dolphin install?

Or is there a special way to install them together on the same system or can I expect problems doing that since some of the sql files are the same?

 Both mods can be installed on the same site.

When I install the Bands Mod by itself everything seems to work great except for when you add a band, the video embed does not actually embed the link. It just places the link on the band page (just plain text.) The video upload works great but the embed seems to be missing something to get it on the page.

Sorry for that last post, I was brain dead testing it. I put the link in, instead of the embed code. The mod works fantastic. But when I install the Song Contest Mod with it, I cannot run the sql files without error.

 The only SQL files that comes with the Song Contest are those that integrate it with Points or Credits mods and you should not be running those because you have neither the Points nor Credits mod installed. In the future, please read the readme files that comes with the mods before attempting installation.

I did read them. In the Begin Package Instructions, it says: Upload sqlpoints.php from your "Contest_files" folder and run http://www.yoursite.com/sqlpoints.php . It does not say only if you have the points mod.

Any how, great mods and I think you supply the fastest support I have ever received from anyone.

We have found a bug....

On the mainpage we can't search for citys in the quicksearch box.

The search for names is ok but when we search for citys a page with no searchresults is showing.

Please fix this! It's important!

Adds the ability to embed Youtube Videos by entering only the Video Url.

Complete re-write of the Sub-Sections (Events, News, Albums, Members). Now these sections are separated from the Band Add/Edit forum and can be separately managed.

Hello.

After the Update to Dolphin 7.0.8 we have an error when we go into the forum from a band.

Access denied. You must have special permissions to access this area or you are not logged in.

This error come on admin and all users. After this error every other link will link to a page, that does not exist....

The rights are not changed.

Please help!

 You may have overwrote the modification that was made to the .htaccess file . Check the .htaccess file to ensure that it has the entry for bands.

I have a problem and need some help:

1)  I post an event for a band and it does not show up in the Calendar page under the Bands section.

I even changed the date to see if it was formatted correctly and still nothing

 The Calendar page shows Bands, not Bands Events.

In the block which shows the bands on your Profile page,  I have a language key which was not in the install or missed and the second line of the band shows _modzzz_bands_present

What is the value supposed to be here?

 Do you have version 2.0.7 ? That language key is not missing from the latest version of the mod.

can anyone tell me how to find the .htaccess file to modify.

i am using cpanel file manager. i search and find 250 different files .htaccess but when i go to the folder i dont see them. can someone help me please.

 There should be an option in your CPanel to turn on displaying of hidden files.

IlBelloDelWEB has reported that this module is now compatible with his EVO Wall - Advanced News Feed module.

The module is now updated for Dolphin 7.1

I see that there is code in the BxBandsModule.php for events.  Will there be integration to add the event from the band's page to post to the Boonex Events page? maybe just a simple button to add where the band's event shows up site wide on all profiles? Would be a great addition!

This way, the code can work with the 3 main events modules on Dolphin:

Boonex Events

UE30 Events/Locations

Modzzz Premium Events

Something worth considering- Some Bands (Especially Cover Tune Artists beginning) perform multiple Genres of music...

Being able to create and Album and attaching a Genre for that Album would be good....Better for searching Albums, and better categorization....Prolly would want to make that an optional field?

This is a great plugin so far, but I'm having issues creating a band. I'm logged in with the admin account, and after filling in all of the fields in the Add Band section, clicking Submit reloads the page and retains the information entered. No bands show up after this.

How can I fix this?
