BUG that blocks member out

Hi,

if someone signs in/joins a new account using a number as user name and by coincidence (and it must be a great one but nevertheless...) that number corresponds to an existing members' ID number or to his photo album number (this one being assigned by the system itself), that blocks out the already existing member.

We had 3 members blocked out for 3 around 3 months before we had enough information to find this issue...

Can anyone replicate this error and confirm it may be a bug?

Regards,

Hello

I tried to reproduce the issue on fresh installed Dolphin 7.03 and had no luck. I had a profile with 1234 as ID and tried to join using 1234 as username. Everything is OK. Both profile are active and can be viewed, etc.

Could you please provide more detailed(step by step) description of how the issue can be reproduced.

Hi,

this was with D7.0...now moved to 7.0.2...and in fact it has gone away, it is impossible to duplicate error with ID/username.

Please delete post and sorry for the inconvinience....
