Avatar gets replaced with another picture

I uploaded some pictures to my photo album and my Avatar got replaced with another picture, I had to reset it in order to change it back to my avatar.  i will appreciate any help on this.

Go to https:/YOURDOMAIN/administration/advanced_settings.php

Look under General for

Enable last-added item as album cover

If checked un-check it..

Also if you go to your avatar or profile picture album. Take what ever picture you want it to be and move it to the first spot.. That will change your picture..

go to ---> /administration/advanced_settings.php and check "Member Thumb" and  "Member Thumb Icon" settings under the "profiles" tab, maybe in your case try to set both fields to "Avatar" option...
