Avatar Remove Issue - Photo Album

After joining and user selects an picture to upload for avatar (or when editing avatar),  when avatar loads- in the Crop (Preview and Activate) section the user clicks "Remove"   it displays " Avatar has been successfully deleted"   but the image is still saved in there photo album after.

Tested on Boonex.com..

Please fix... Unwanted avatars are taking over my public photos block....There everywhere..

AlexT says me - "Your uploaded avatar picture was copied twice in avatar folder and into your album". You can disable it here:

Yes,  I understand you can uncheck that box (which I unset this auto) but shouldn't that image be uploaded to photo album only if member clicks "activate"   not upon just uploading?  Currently when user uploads an avatar the image is stored in the photo album before the user can crop and activate? If user decides to change image without activating and clicks "Remove" the image is already in photo albums and does not get removed.

I have members that check the box"copy to profile photo album" and upload and remove 10 photos before they find the one that makes them look better.....

This causes alot of unwanted images being displayed in photo album and makes users go into album to delete images they thought they didn't activate and deleted already. Confusing.......
