Avatar Problems - Overwriting other members

Hey anyone noticed any issues when setting avatars overwriting another members avatar? Another words, the avatar changes not only for that member, but also for 1 other member as well.

I checked the Profiles table to make sure the correct picture # was set in the Avatar field, but it still displays the wrong picture.

Example picture 39 was just added as a Avatar. The member that has 24 set as their avatar is now showing the same avatar that was just loaded.

I cleared the cached and nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris,  try deleting the contents of your cache file (except for .htaccess of course).  This corrected the issue you were trying to help me with.

Rob

p.s.  By the way, why doesn't the "clear cache" button on the admin panel work?  Isn't that what it is supposed to do?  It doesn't on mine.  Is this a bug? - or some quirk in my system.

Hmm..I did that and it seemed to remove both member's avatar picture that I was having problems with. I was able to reset one, now just have to get the other memebr to reset hers as well.

Thanks for the suggestion Rob.

Also, I would like to know why the Clean All DOES NOT actually clear the /cache/ folder like it should. Can we get someon to look at this please?

Hi There,

I'm having the same problem. The avatar's image invert between their self randomly. Clear the cache resolve temporaly the problem.

Many users are registering at this moment and it's a big problem for me. Check at www.iqueer.ch/mecs, you could see duplicate avatars.

Has anyone a solution ????

Some problem here... but i was thinking was from the migration from d6.1.6 ... but if you tell you too have this problem...

Like Chris me too i check the DB and also if the avatar number is different for 2 members, show up the some avatar for boths, and not only if is one default avatar, but also if  one member upload theyr personal avatar...

I can supouse is a bug... i hope somebody open one ticket...
