you may want to check your server (host tools in admin section) and make sure everything is setup properly. If you go to the Dolphin demo site all works well. (demo.boonex.com)

it worked perfectly for me - not sure if the issue was quickly fixed or if maybe there was an issue on your end or something. I have no clue what the issue could be though.

Ok if set on site.com/administration/advanced_settings.php on Profiles << " Member Thumb " and " Member Thumb Icon " >> Avatar icon is work but if i select Profile Photo, avatar is present for selection but not work because take only photo that is on album.

With Profile Photo if an user not insert an avatar is display a Thumb icon from a photo and is ok, but the right way in my opinion would be that if an user select an avatar, the avatar should replace the photo.

Otherwise are forced to uninstall the avatar module if i set Profile Photo on " Member Thumb " and " Member Thumb Icon ".

ProfessorSr, could you test this if using avatars. At the time of registration you upload the photo, and you are redirected to the cropping page of the avatar. At this time as seen in the above video, you can select "copy to the Profile album" and home copying is not done and the cover profile remains empty strated it's not pretty. I had already asked the question here ...

I also want to ask if many members fail to reframe and passes this stage, I often have to do it for them, is also vore case?

When using the Avatar and selecting to add to Profile Photo album, it worked perfectly for me.

My take on Avatars and Profile Photos, that helps me. Avatar is probably more common as it is used in a lot of sites - think of your X-Box or Playstation. You are represented by your characters Avatar.

Profile Photos are just photos that you took that you want others to see, but these photos are not meant as an identifier of you. Also, with Profile Photos, the most recent photo is set as your User Image. Whereas Avatars are only changed if you change it yourself.

I find the Avatar better than the Profile Pictures - my personal opinion - as the term and functionality is more widely used and understood from what I have experienced. The Profile Photos can be confusing to members because of its design and similarities to the Avatar module.

Again, this is just my personal thoughts and the reason I do not use the Profile Photos.

Thank you for your test, it is curious, this works for me but only at the time of registration after it works. on a fresh install, I do not understand why. Do you have an idea or it may come? Also thank you for your views on the avatars, I have always worked with them too, and I thought change in the 7.2 opportunity, but I think I'll put myself in your view and continue working with them.
