Automatic files subscription on join...?

I'd like every member to be automatically notified on files upload by any member, how can we do that?

Yes, that sounds like a good question. The only way now is too subscribe to the user your interested in? I'm not sure about this

There would be too many notifications if it's from every member. However, adding an auto-subscribe feature to all actions by your friends shouldn't be a lunar mega-project. Or...?  Does something like this exist at all or do I have to keep on envying Facebook?
