Automatic change of status of items in Classifieds

I've spend considerable time looking for an answer to this and can't find any so I'm submitting my question here.

In Dolphin 6.1 Classifieds, the current default configuration of the Buy Now feature creates an "auction" process that allows many people to bid on the same item until the seller removes the item.

Is there a way to automatically deactivate the item when the notification email is sent to the seller and buyer?

I do not want the item to be automatically deleted.

And again, we should not need a 'mod' for simple basic functions?

That's the problem, it does not automatically deactivate it.

'Buy Now' function just send emails to buyer and seller and ask them to contact with each other. No more. We haven`t here any auction functional.

"You have chosen the "Buy Now" option to purchase the item above. If you wish to proceed and make an immediate purchase of this item at the price listed below, please click the "Buy Now" button. This will close the auction allowing you and the seller to complete the transaction."

According to the default message, it should actually 'close the auction'. Why it's called an auction at all I have no idea. I'm actually looking at this at the moment to change the usage of this particular function and am actually glad that it doesn't deactivate the item.

This area of the Dolphin script is called Classifieds, not Auction, yet the default Buy Now message says auction. There should be a function in Admin to switch from "auction" to immediate product sale.

I will pay for this mod, if someone wants to do this for me!!

I've setup a classified on my site but I don't see an option to use the Buy Now feature.

Just figured out I had to look at the ad as another user to see the buy now button.

It does say auction, and that is a bit strange.
