Anyone using the Watermark feature?

Just curious how it displays, and what setting/format you're using?

It is semi-broke at the moment.

Here's the current rundown...on small pictures the watermark appears very large, on larger pictures the watermark appears very small, on huge pictures (pixels x pixels bi) it won't show at all, on super small pictures, it overpowers the picture with the watermark.  It appears the watermark inversely scales to what it should be, there is a bug for it that might be fixed in 7.1.

Gotcha, thanks, guess this is one more thing I won't bother enabling until it's fixed.

Doesn't look like anything has been done about watermark at all.

The functionality should just be disabled until it is actually semi-working rather then wholly broken.

It appears to be applied before image scaling - which is useless.

Perhaps (short term?) a better solution would be just a text field that can be stamped on the image?

can anyone resolve this issue?

If not a fix - can somebody at least point us in the right direction of where the code is housed, and I can start hacking away to try and find a resolution.

Watermark changes were set for D7.1. If current watermarks don't fit to ur requirements u may disable it via admin panel -> advanced settings section.

I guess my point is - as it stands - it is unusable for everybody, so it should probably be removed or hidden. Unless a site is going to force users to upload images at a very specific set of dimensions - then the watermarking before resizing is unusable.

My question still remains - if Boonex isn't going to fix it for release - can somebody please point me at the code, so I can simply move the watermark code to after the resize code?

It just makes the program look bad and leads to disappointment.

Looks great newton! But what if you also could add text in different fonts and colours as a watermark, instead of a photo and add it in different locations on the photo...
