Anyone using Flashcoms chat?

Hi all,

Is anyone out there using flashcoms chat on their site?

How much is it? This appears to be a bit of a murky area. Also, is there a minthly fee for the service too?

Most importantly, is it worth it? do you notice a difference in service? Site speed? Do you customers prefure it? and was it a pain in the ass to install?

Any advice will be welcome.

Thanks,

Nathan.

well my friend used it - but keepin mind following:

1) unbelieveably expensive

2) many dolphin functions will be doubled = chaos for your visitors

Not worth the price. I would consider it if it was 50% cheaper than it is...

If you want an honest talk dont take that if you don't buy your own script and the full license its look greath but really hard time with the techno . I'm an hold flashcom user and we prefer to put our knoledge and money to bye 123flaschat license but very expensive. We can rent you a host room for your site for cheap fee and full technique support ! All that with the latest v9 123flashchat!!

I bought chat community flashcoms in 2010, this chat is great, ( just in case I don't work for them) , very beautiful welcome screen chat. www.entrapr.com, that is one reason I bought it. I had 123expesivechat, I got tyred of paying to much money for the modules and some bad reseller that stole all your modules after you quit paying the quote. And the issue is that many hackers are behind 123expesive chat trying to hack it. that is a bigger issue. Flashcoms is implementing a lot of ideas in the forum.

Includes webcam module, file sharing module, picture module, whiteboard, mp3 etc......

It cost cheap 299.00 with almost all modules ! , remember to get the write domain name for your chat.

requiremente simple

1.You should have a basic web hosting ( space where you store your website )

2. Flash Media Interactive Server software, you open an account example in influxis.com , I consider the best site that enable to work with your webcams -pictures-etc..  the custom cheap is 23.00 each 3 months. be aware with cast servers , they stole your money and other affilated company over there, be very cafefully when you seek a flash media interactive server for your webcam/chat.

the only issue that this chat , they give you a log in form, you have to create a simple data base, and then writhe the name and password of the database in some files of the chat folder.   Chat come with user name and password to log in in control pannel, but admin nick must be registered in database to gain access to all features.

the login form enable you to enter the chat as admin with options and allow user to register their nicks.

Remember that the  issue you will have is with the login form that is apart from the chat, the login form that connect between chat and database.

installing the chat is easy, flashcoms give you the chat ready after you give them the address of your media server. they give you 2 folders one is going to be located in your webhosting and the other folder upload it in the flash media server, example insert the folder example inside the folder called application in the flash media server. restart and run the chat in your website.

Remember all chats and their programings always  have issues integrating a chat with a social network or to some other software activities.

the Best is to have a experiencie programmer in your hands.
