Anyone proficient in Python

OK, so, I am looking for some assistance with python. Here is what I have going on. I have a Raspberry Pi which I can pull in GPS nmea data from my cell phone. Using python, I can view the raw data, and even do a bit of converting to readable data. Now, I am trying to figure out how to take this data and put into visual gauges  - such as a speedometer, compass, and a few other things. If anyone has any suggestions, I am allnears.

I was looking specifically for python as the programming used to get the data from the obd2 reader is written in python. Using anything else would mean figuring out how to take the info polled using python and then converting to JavaScript - which in have no clue to do. I did find some really nice JavaScript gauges that I would love to use, but I would need help translating the data.
