Anyone ever gotten a refund?

I'm not looking for a full refund, just a refund for 2 ray modules I purchased and realized I didn't need to purchase them.

One of them I purchased and realized I purchased the WRONG ONE. I purchased the Ray Video Player thinking it was the Ray Audio/Video Recorder. It was an honest mistake. Do they do refunds for stuff like that?

Turns out I'm not even gonna use the Ray Audio/Video Recorder so I don't need a license for either, I just need my money back.

What does my age have to do with me mistakenly purchasing the wrong ray module and asking for a refund?

Is there a refund age limit?

Good point, here's a better one.

If you don't ask you won't know.

A lot of people never know they can get a refund because they fail to ask. I get a refund from reputable companies with good customer service all the time.

I guess what's funny is that I put Boonex in that same category, they don't even support their product officially in the forum. For example, that 32K limit thread that everyone seems to be avoiding Laughing Laughing.

Changing it from one folder per user to one large folder is not a massive amount of coding.  I'm sure you can address it when you get to 32k members.  Give me a shout and I can help with it.

I don't quite understand why georgemedia is being mocked for this reasonable question.  As for the "An adult assumes his own mistakes" that kind of snide quip could be used everytime someone asks a question or makes a mistake here- I don't understand the point.

In any event, I would like to know the answer- "has anyone ever gotten a refund?"

Let me throw in my 2 cents.... with any online company (Boonex included) it is VERY unlikely to get a refund. They blame it on software piracy using the old theory that if someone is going to pirate it they at least have to pay for ONE copy, haha. But I think the real reason is that 99% of downloadable products are paid for through Paypal.. so these companies KNOW that Paypal has that NO REFUND policy on "digital goods". Here is how paypal feels:

Didn't buy it through Ebay? NO REFUND

Downloaded it? NO REFUND

Long story short, NEVER pay for online goods from money that is already in your paypal account.. if you do and you get screwed then you are out of luck! If you use paypal and pay with a credit card you can at least dispute it on your credit card and get justice if something goes wrong.

As always, hope this info helps someone..
