Any way to use embed code in profile description?

Is there a manner to allow embed code to work in the profile description box? Imgur.com allows people to upload an unlimited number of photos for free. You can then use an embed code to post your Imgur photos/galleries out on the web. Users on my site are big on sharing photos and it would free up a great deal of disk space if I could have them upload the photos to Imgur and display them on my site.

If I put the embed code in the profile description, it does not work, it just disappears and does nothing. Interestingly, if I simply put a link to an Imgur photo/gallery (like https://imgur.com/a/3IbFv) in any other input field like profile comments and post to timeline, the image or gallery is displayed beautifully. If I post that same link in the profile description though it just shows the link and not the actual image.

I know that allowing html in the description box has been sought out for years but I'm hoping maybe someone found a way?

Thanks.

You can.

When editing About me, there's and Add/Edit image option.

Click that and add image source as an URL to where the image is located.

Beware though, people might pull in large images.
