That will solve my own video upload nightmares! I want folks to post to youtube first anyways, then use an embed, but this makes it so sweet you just made my day!

Yes, sure, it will help to protect your server from overloading (with huge capacity of videos). So members will able upload own videos directly to youtube (without storing at your own server). They will use own youtube accounts of course.

thats good but just bad luck youtube done allow adult videos..

I had installed the YouTube crossposter and quite a few issues. 

1) Installation went well, and had no issues so far

2) Once installed, the files were configured and tested to be working.

3) I uploaded the video to YouTube with no issue, and then I was prompted to CONTINUE

4) You have a screen which shows the YouTube link and the choice of video folders that you want to post that into. I chose the default folder, and message appeared that there was an ERROR posting to your video folders.

5) I checked membership level permissions, and made sure all permissions were correct, and then tried again with the same error.

6) So I uninstalled, and installed on my test domain instead, and the same error occurs.

There is an inherited permission issue on versions 2.0.4 and the latest version 2.0.6.

There is also an issue with duplicate language key on some domains for Category 89 in the sys_localization_keys table of the database.  There are more than one developer using the same  language strings for their modules.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I noticed your problem which you described few months ago, and decided to solve this.

Why it happen, shortly - due updating issue on data-servers of youtube.

So, when we uploading some video to youtube - data servers not refreshing immediately. They updating periodically after some period.

Just try to upload something to youtube using web interface, and then - try to add this video using ordinary embedding method of boonex videos module. You will get same issue.

So, for solving this I decided to make post-assigning already uploaded videos at home page of my module. Hope you remember that solution.

Recently (few days ago) I finally updated my module.

Now you can pass your videos (located at youtube) directly to your dolphin`s video albums from home page of this module.

Andrew, I just decided to see if it might be the Boonex video module, so I just went into the video modules, then to my albums... opened an album, and tried to add a video. Not using anything other than the videos module from Boonex.  Choosing embed, I added all things necessary, and went to save, and got same error as with your module. So it is Boonex videos??? Or maybe database?

This is same what I told:

Youtube not updating own Data-centers directly after your upload, they doing it periodically

Example, open in browser

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?q=8o_uw_zwdEs

after, goto youtube, upload any your video (even small one),

and, open same url:

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?q=8o_uw_zwdEs

But change 8o_uw_zwdEs to ID of your new added video, here are will empty page

after some time - video info will appear. Understand now?

so this is related even not with boonex video module - but with youtube itself.

This is because I made (developed) post-adding videos to albums (as extra free addon)

NO you do not understand. I used a code on a video which has been on YOUTUBE for many years.  NO video will post to the website at all.  I can post it into the YouTube Extreme by webmediaservices, but the default Boonex and Your module will not post to the database.

Any suggestions now?

Crossposter to vimeo? Hum, yes, possible. Do you think that vimeo is popular service too?

Yes please... I'm finding that more and more of my club's members are starting to use Vimeo.  It would be nice if your Video Crossposter module included the capability to use both YouTube and Vimeo.

I'm glad to introduce new updated version (v 1.1.1) of this module.

New version contains full Vimeo integration.

Now you can use it as Vimeo crossposter.

I purchased your mod and am finding the same problem after uploading my video to the site.  What is going on. I know that you tube may take some time to update their server but I have been sitting on my upload screen trying the continue button for over an hour.  I don't think that's the problem.  I am not sure what to do about it.  I removed it from my site so my users are not confused.  Also the vemio side just puts up an function error when I switch to it.  I am using dolphin 7.0.9

Hello Andrew i am about to buy this, just one question or if any others here know this and want to reply please do so. Lets say user uploads video on their YouTube account, does it auto appear in the YouTube block in Dolphin "profile page?" Then user clicks on YouTube upload button, which at that given moment they choose desired video album on dolphin site?

Are you going to reply or what? I have been waiting and been in contact with you letting you know repeatedly that i need help fixing the thumbnail issue and i have not heard from you. I do not like to do this to anybody, however you need to stay more connected with your clients. You sent me instructions and i, as well as hosting have made and applied your instructions and the problem still remains. This is your product!!

If i can not have your module working properly, due to your lack of communication and not replying back to numerous attempts in trying to contact you for help, PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY! I will uninstall your module from my site now!

Nahh newton he got back already, he was on vacation. I chatted with him already via email regarding the mod. Damn i hate doing this, cause i am against it sooo much, but unfortunately i have no other choice. The gentleman is a very good developer no doubts, but damn!! At this point i want my money back and buy it from another developer who replies back at a reasonable time! Thanks for trying to inform me!!

 I'm not positive, but perhaps this refers to the "Zoomed-In" appearance of the thumbnail?

If so, there are a few ways to resolve this....

You can edit the common.css file of BASE or of your custom template....

UnderDog4All thanks bro, but i don't even have a thumbnail, so i don't know if what you replied i can use it. At this point man i just want my cash back. There is no reason for this delay. It's very simple, you pay for a mod, the developer replies back, your exchanging emails back and forth, mod should be installed. Its a shame cause i really DO NOT like to do this.

My answer is 'Yes' for both questions.

We already fixed it today, it was because of wrong permission to the 'ffmpeg.exe' on your host. I changed it to 777, and it started working. Yes, you remarked that this is 'my' product, but actually, this is the default dolphin's youtube upload.

Andrew resolved my problem! The module is an excellent module, and there appeared to be some misunderstanding from both parties. Great Job Andrew! I figured the right thing to do here is for me to man up and explain the final results.
