I am interested in developing a couple of extensions that can help the owners of social networks understand the sentiment and other analytics in both the content of their networks and, especially, the comments that members make (discussion threads, comments on those threads, other pages where comments are given/accepted, etc.). The main capabilities would include tagging comments with a sentiment value (a scale from very negative to very positive) along with various analytics around the words used.
I'd like to gauge the interest level for this time of extension. Please respond with your comments about your interest level for this type of extension.
