Amazon S3 Mod?

Just been looking to see if anyone has created an Amazon S3 mod for 7.1? it would take a hell of a lot of pressure off the server load if all the media was uploaded into an Amazon S3 bucket.

Who ever can create the mod would probably make a killing in the mod market. From previous open source softwares like opencart, wordpress, joomla the S3 mod has been a total gem.

Anyone know if it is being created for 7.1?

Reviving an old thread to see if any developments have been made in this area recently. I see that there is information on using S3 storage for Moxiemanager but as far as I know, this doesn't do anything for storage of uploaded photos or videos via the photo or video modules.

I'm looking for a way (like a mod) that will store photos uploaded via the photos module to Amazon S3 or even better, a mod that will allow members to upload their photos to a free service like Imgur.com and then display them (embed) them in via the photo module to my Dolphin site while the photos remain hosted at imgur.
