Allow admin passwords >8 characters

A change needs to be made where we can change our passwords to something longer than 8 characters.  Currently you can put in any password you want when doing a fresh install.  However if you decide to later change the password via the administration area you can only input something 8 characters, pitfully low.  This needs to be opened up to allow a password as long as we feel.  It also adds more security to the site!

Can you change it to something longer than 8 characters if you go to your profile and click edit, and change your password form there?

Just wondering if its isolated just within the Admin Panel...

Good idea I'll check that when the update is done has its throwing template errors and won't let me do that.

Changing my password via edit profile does work and allow the longer password.  However this still needs a ticket as not everyone will realize they can do this (I didn't) and think they are doing something wrong in the admin panel.
