So yesterday, I opened my new site up for open registration, and had quite a few people in chat - and what we noticed first of all was that it didn't matter what sex the user had listed on their profile, it was showing everyone - females included - as males in the chat's user list. I verified that their profiles were marked correctly as females. This is a major annoyance, as my site definitely needs to be able to differentiate gender in the chat rooms.
Also, the whisper function does not seem to be working correctly if used via the option from the text formatting bar of the chat screen. It does work just find if you do it from the tooltip of a member out of the user list however. So, anyone have any thoughts on why it's not working from there? And if it's a bug that can't be fixed, is there any way to remove the whisper checkbox from the chat box itself so people aren't embarrassing themselves by checking the box, thinking they're whispering, but then having what they're saying be seen by everyone anyway?
Thanks

For your first problem, use the search, the solution is here.
For the second problem, the whisper option on bottom does not work, well, not the way it should. You have to choose the person, THEN tick the whisper box. It should auto-tick it. You really need the source files to edit it, I tried to without it, but it couldn't be done. You could message Rayz, he can fix it for a price, I had already messaged him about it, but I went on to fix other issues within Dolphin.

I actually did use the search function...and couldn't find anything for what I was asking here....lol. As far as the chat room gender issue issue, all I found was how to remove the gender completely - but that's not what I want. I want it to show females as females...lol.
And yeah, the whisper function has actually started working now. Not sure what was up with it before, but it's been fine today.

I must say that I dont understand the casualness of people saying that we should go and pay for a fix of a program (Dolphin) which we payed for. I understand he uses it for free, but what about all the other users who payed for the software? Especially once the prices go up to 399.
Its not normal to have to pay for modules or fixes to repair a chat. The fixes should be included.
Now of course I understand that if Dolphin were to be perfect then the "Market" would be literally useless and there wouldnt be any extra income.

Rolf, I tend to agree with you...I understand I'm on a free license, and I'm VERY appreciative for the functionality it gives for free - and if my site takes off like I hope it will, I absolutely WILL be upgrading not only my license to a paid one, but will be more than happy to invest in more paid modules...
But it is a little frustrating that when a feature that is supposed to be included with the free release isn't working as it should that I'm being told I'll have to pay to get it fixed.
My site has already been building up some popularity, so I'm probably not too far off from being ready to upgrade my license...but this is giving me a little pause in my thinking now.
