Alex T bug report photo switcher/ Freind request

Alex if you only place the photo switcher block on a page and it is empty it just shows as small message saying empty

and if you place both blocks on page click on the small icon image in switcher unit it changes the picture in the photo block

2/Regards the freinds request this was reported over 1000 days ago could we please have a correction :O) see here

 This is a strange one in 7.1 the friend request shows for the member who made request in the submenucnt of the persons profile you requested to be freinds with so unless you revisit there profile apart from the small notification in the extra top menu  the person receiving message has no other indication .

in page builder

Block Shows on profile page of the person who sent request so you only see it when you revisit there profile ?

Once clicked it takes you back to the logged in persons (who made request ) communicator.php

3/ language key missing in mouse over popup message

Happy thoughts

1) 2 photos blocks aren't supposed to be together on profile page, block with one photo is the same as photo switcher block with the difference that only 1st photo is shown.

Same on the test site set up fred account sends  test friends request

I then logged into test account

expecting to find friend request from fred on my profile

 I visit test profile expecting to find friend request from fred on my profile

I then visit Freds profile who sent request while logged in as test

TO FIND THE FRIENDS REQUEST

ON the persons profile who sent request ?

on tests account no friend request alerts from fred ?

Ok, it works this way.

User1 make friend request to User2.

User2 can see this request in Account and Connection pages, and, if User2 visits User1 then he sees that User1 made friend request to him and can accept it right away. 

It make no sense to see friend request in own profile.

I send you mail from USA you are in Australia but you have to come to usa to be told you have mail :O) on 709 I have a work round on profile page most people click on this .

what would I need to do to put message alert in head ?

This is just another way to see the request.

You sent me mail from USA to Australia using usual post and I will receive it using usual way in a post box, but if I come to you to USA then you will say: "Hey, I've sent you a mail!" - same thing in Dolphin, in addition to the standard way of receive the request(in account and communicator) and react on it, there is some additional (in sender's profile) 

To insert some alert you need custom programming, it is better to hire someone to do it for you.
