After sale service??

Am i wrong or isnt a seller of a mod meant to be around to ans questions about a mod that you bought from them? i don't mean they should ans the questions as soon as they are asked but when a couple of days have passed since you contacted them and they still don't ans the questions you asked then to me this really puts me off buying things from the market place because if something happens to something i have bought then what support will i get? i say this as in the past two weeks i have bought two mods from the market place off two different people where one didn't work at all and the other doesn't seem to work as it should do, and both of these people seem to of dropped any support since i bought these mods, so if i can ask where does this leave me? as like ebay if something isnt as it should be then it either gets fixed or you get a refund?

Thanks :)

Hello

Looks like you've purchased mods from untrusted vendors. You may check the vendor before purchasing anything from him. You may read reviews on his profile or products' pages. Also you may contact with the vendor first. So, you'll see how fast he is in responding.

Just to let you know. :) We answer to all new mails during one working day. Also we provide after sale support and customization service.

Currently I recommend you to post about the situation in Disputes section of this forum. May be the vendors became to answer faster and it would save the other buyers from having deals with them.

Good luck!!!

I too also respond within a day. Hours in most cases.

I to also recommend you post in the disputes section to bring this to the attention of the moderators.

Most of the vendors I have purchased from have been super about responding and answering questions.  A few were a little slow on answering and fixing a problem but they did fix them.  There is no way to know if a vendor is still active or not.  As stated already, if you ask a vendor a question about their product, either in their support forum (not all will have one for the product) or by message and they don't respond in a week then you might want to reconsider purchasing the module, or at least wait and see if they eventually answered.  I had one vendor to never answer and then he popped back onto the forum about a month after I sent the message to him; never answered my message about the module.  He stated he is updating the module but I am still reluctant to purchase it.  One must realise vendors do have a life outside of Boonex.

The market is caveat emptor; let the buyer beware.  First thing to do before buying a module is to check out the support forum for the module; if there is one.  Check the time between a issue is posted and the time the response came back.  Check the review section.  I know I am repeating what has been said but it does not hurt to repeat it.

As for the modules you have purchased, others may be able to help you with them.

I concur - we have a handful of Vendors who provide really good products and back them with timely support. We now have plenty of tools to enable research before making a purchase. Some Vendors do take their time to respond and clients get frustrated. Still, their products may be valuable, so it's a matter of choice.
