what do you mean exactly by 'moving directories'?

from public_html/beta to public_html/

did you make the appropriate changes in your header.inc.php file - there should be 2? One is the url of your site, and the other is the directory of your site root.

1) Clear contents of the folders cache, cache_public and tmp except for .htaccess files in those folders.

2) Check all file and folder permissions. Dolphin has permission reqiremenst that are set when you install dolphin. Moving or copying dolphin can result in loss of those permissions. They me be rechecked. Admin->tools->host tools then permissions tab.

How did you move the site?  As Deano mentions, it could be permissions.  I have seen cPanel file managers trash permissions as well as user:group.

Best way to move is through shell access.

Yep all cache and temps cleared, and folder and file permissions are fine checked them first. I just moved it from /beta/ to / and changed the settings in header.inc.php and cleared cache and temps.

How are you hosting the site?  If you have access to the vhost file, you could have simply changed the root for the vhost and not have to move the files.

For example, if your old vhost root was /var/www/html/site_files/ and you were using a URL of http://myniftysite.tld/beta

Changing the vhost root to /var/www/html/site_files/beta (and making the change in the URL of the /inc/header.inc.php file) would have changed your site to http://myniftysite.tld without moving the site files.  Of course you have that beta thing in the vhost root but only you will see it; and if you wish change the directory from /beta to /site and make the change in the /inc/header.inc.php for the site root.  Really no need to move the files at all if you have the power of being able to modify the vhost root.

I have moved many sites and have never see such problems. I can only conclude that files moved were damaged.

What is your method of moving the files from one folder to the other?

Hello,

I have the same problem with the editor. Did you find a solution?

Start a new topic.  Outline exactly what you have done prior to TinyMCE not loading.  List any JS error messages you see in the browser's error console.
