Adsense in Orca,, like all other forum sites have?

I have seen this discussed before but can not remember where it was left off at, or if there was a way figured out yet. Like how other real forums have adsense that generates and pops into the form post every so many post,, I would kill to have this possible with Orca,, was talking to Shanky about it this morning and he said it would require ALOT AND LOTS of work to make this happen... anyone tried this with success yet?

I was not able to get Adsense to show on every few posts BUT I remember how amazing it was when I got adsense working in the forums full stop and I remember a few other people was super happy too.

 I WANT ADSENSE WORKING IN MY FORUMS!

Then reduce forum page sizes in page builder to fit correctly.. Adsense comes up on main forum pages and all posts ;)

Just look at the foreach in the topics function and put a teller in it. This way you could output adsense every x posts.

It's a hack. It works, sort of. The Fish Forum is a stand alone island of code in the sea of the Internet and does NOT play well with any other scripting on the net. I wouldn't waste my time. ALSO, because of how it works, Google will eventually block you for violating their rules.

 explain please,,,, far as I know you do not violate terms posting an ad every so many post o.O

i remember i tried adding adsense to the forums before and it totally wrecked those forums.. just like locked them up.. im wondering if that issue has been sorted before i try this .. anyone know?

 using which method ? and what do you mean 'locked them up' ?

i remember i added the adsese code in the html editor of a forum once and then everytime i tried to view it there was an error.. couldnt delete it or anything, would just error out

have you tried adding the adsese code in the html of the forum post? ... im talking about adding the adsense into the forum post itself,, not the way you did it

as per TOS/TOU, google allows three banners/media ads, and three text link ads per page.

This will come into play on your forums unless you are using Denres pagination module and can shorten the length of the topic(s) pages. [edited]

If you put "adsense" to show in each and every post, they will limit the ads show to the six mentioned.

 Yeah I understand what you was trying to achieve ... I was just providing that as another means of getting Adsense in your forum and posts etc ...

 yeah, you are right about the limitation with # of ads ...

I don't know if it bans you are just only shows three adverts.  Still, with google, you have to walk on egg shells, they will drop you even if you don't do anything wrong and it is hell trying to get it back.

Just will only show up to the allowed six ads...

Google will only let you show 3 of each type like newton27 said ... you can try and add more but these will not show and just leaves white space.
