Adsense and Us

Thought I'd share a quick video showing some policy updates/changes that could affect your account.

I have done this so sure most of you all might be.

For instance music video, and photos.

Google Adsense is cracking down on more and more sites without warning.

It's called "framing copyrighted content," e.g. music videos and the like.

Change your sites while you still can.

Of course if the original owner of the material puts the content up on YouTube and turns on sharing they are saying, "Hey, you can redistribute this".  However, that won't keep the Google Gestapo from taking away your hard earned adsense money if they decide you are infringing even if you have not infringed.  Google adsense is a load of cow manure; you don't get crap for the clicks and it is only worth the hassle is if you have enough members that will actually click on your content.  The thing is, people ignore adverts for the most part and don't click.

 When I click that link it takes me to a video where a CNN anchor is talking about the government shutdown. About adsense, for the last 6 years I've done great.. At one point I was making $300 a month. Then last week they disabled my account. No warning or explanation. There isn't even anyone who you can talk to about it. Heck of a way for a company to do business.

You can file an appeal; or whatever they call it.  Although most times it does not do any good.  I bet they also owed you money but claimed they refunded the advertisers; how do we know they do any refunds to advertisers?  I wish I could get a grand jury investigation into that because I bet Google does not refund a dime.  How do we know, we don't have access to the books.

Unfortunately or Fortunately, I do not make enough on Adsense to warrant  even the time to comment here. For anyone looking to monetize your site, there are far better advertisers for specific niche that will pay you more for a bonafided sale. The issue is that Google shows ads based on individual cookies on everyone's computer based on current interests. For example, if you went to a jewelry shop website, they would present you with that sites ads. If you are like many and share a computer that does not define the individual users then you maybe seeing ads that your son, sister, wife, husband had browsed for in the near past. So if you see dating sites then you would be right to suspect that your other half was perusing for a fling.

   In any case, I have tested Google ads and find that they slow the site down more then images being the wrong size. One ad on your front page can double the seconds for full booting of your site. So if you believe that there is no cost for using Google Ads you are greatly mistaking.

no wonder I keep seeing the Joomla upgrade ad from Google on whatever site that I go to. because I was working on Drupal, Joomla and the likes everyday.

This is the reason why we don't support monopoly, when they're too big they don't give a shit about users, partners. In the beginning they were nice, care about their users etc...

Why Google and Facebook got so big since MySpace and Yahoo were the grandfather of those two? Because the US government has been supporting them, they're like the right and left wings of the NSA, where they can track almost anyone anywhere in the world, especially people who use Apple products to browse Facebook and search Google.

That's another reason why Google doesn't care about the chump change from us, they got paid from uncle Sam regardless. Did you read about telecom companies got paid hundreds of millions of dollars to leak data to the government?  and remember, the money is from our hard earning money through the tax system.

Same thing with the Walmart, they're have been raping the mom n' pop stores around this country since the Clinton era.

Yes, I have.  The telecom sells data to the government and make a nice bit of change doing so.

I don't know a social networking site where members don't upload and embed youtube and other copyrighted content.  So this pretty much means no adsense on social networks unless you prevent any video embedding at all in blog posts and anywhere.

I wonder if Google has partnered with FaceSucks; and I know that FaceSucks is littered with pirated content from photos to videos to music.

why we the webmasters all hate facesucks ? it's just plain dumb stupid but 1 billion people fall for it.

I think everyone needs attention. and I can tell 99% of facesuckers are women.

No, what I was wondering if some of the adverts on FaceSucks is generated by Google; some partnership between Google and FaceSucks.  I don't know, maybe not.  However, if Google has partnered with FaceSucks and some of the adverts are generated through Google, then they are arseholes for it when they ban us from having any copyrighted content.  Perhaps not, perhaps all the adverts are placed using FaceSucks code directly from the company they are advertising for.  And if that is the case, then the companies advertising on FaceSucks have no problem with their advert being placed beside copyrighted content.  So why is Google being such arseholes? Google has no problems with stealing people's WiFi info; so Google is not doing this to be saints by any means.
