Administration Page loosing formating

My sites admin page occasionally would loose its formatting and by closing the page and re-opening the page it would fix its.

But now it won't fix, it stays broken.  

The links still work and those pages open and process fine?

Any Ideas of why this is happening?

I also have had customers tell me that the page formatting goes away sometimes on the actual site,

It maybe a cache issue, try to clear cache or temporarily disable it

Admin Panel > Tools > Cache > Clear Cache | Settings

Also compression the CSS files can cause it.  You can turn off compression in the admin, clear the caches in admin and then clear /cache and cache_public leaving the .htaccess files in place.

I changed the settings and it cleared up.
