Administration Emails

Hi all,

I am having some issues.  After numerous searches here I have tried pretty much everything I have come across on trying to get Administrators to receive emails.  Does Dolhin support this?

First I have all the setting to activate only on email.  The members will receive their activation emails once registered, however it appears the info isn't being sent to the Administrator to let them know a new member has Registered.

Also I just noticed that the "Contact Us" page doesn't work, the form shows up properly but once info is added to all fields the Submit Button doesn't work.  Haven't researched this one yet, but will in the meantime while waiting for help with the emails.

Thanks much in advance for any help on both issues.

Sammie, is there a way to disable the autocomlete and the ability for a user to use the copy and paste in the email area of the sign up form

Ive seen other sites do this. I ask because I have had friends try to sign up and give up thinking there was somehting wrong.

A work around I guess would be to but some instructions on this part of the form but I think disabling the a.c. and c.p  would be best

Hi sammie,

Thanks for your reply.  Got the contact form working.

Now I still can't receive any new emails.  I tried to send a Contact and nothing.  I know I have email capabilities on my server as I have my own Webhosting business and all my clients as well as a few of my own sites have no issues with email being sent from scripts to email accounts.

Can some one give me something to look into?

Thanks much in advance.

Autocomplete is an end user item that recognizes anytime a browser window opens seeking login/e-mail information.  I have not found a way to stop this thing, outside of the end user turning it off.  Personally, I have sworn if I buy one more laptop with this thing enabled I will pitch it in the Otonnabee river.  I can't stand autocomplete.
