Admin password

Ok, at the risk of sounding a bit dumb - I can't seem to find where to change my Dolphin admin password.  True, I have modified slightly my admin panel but I don't think I trashed any link to modify my passwords.  I looked though all the blocks to see if maybe there was a dedicated one for password management. I don't see it.

Hopefully this is an easy one.  Help?

I can see where to change my connection data in the header file but unless I just overlooked it, it's not in that file.

Haha, it's not there.  Under Basic or Advanced Settings - actually went through all the visible links and no gotta.  Is it a block by itself?  When I click on the 'wrench' icon to pull up all available blocks, I do not see it there either.

If someone won't mind too much, paste the url of the path to get to the admin password reset page?  That's all I need I think.

Thanks.

changing the admin password isnt as simple as just looking in the admin panel, it has to be done in the files themselves.

Take a look at this link and it should help

Click on the 'wrench' icon

and look after item Admin Password below All Items

item Admin Password shall be below Settings, at the top.

-------------

If you can't find item Admin Password, open table AdminMenu

and check ID 26, shall be as below

ID 26
Title Admin Password
Url global_settings.php?cat=ap
Desc Change a password for access to administration
Check
Order 0
Categ 0
Icon admin_password.gif

Go back to Admin Menu and find Admin Password item below All Items, move it up to Active Items

My admin password stopped working the other day. The site wasnt hacked and I really do not have an explaination. Luckily, I have a regular account on the site so I opened my account in the Profiles table and copied my password string, created a new user in the admin table and pasted the password string. I was then able to login as the new second admin.

Hopefully this will help someone out in the future.
