Admin cannnot send message thru Contact

As an Admin I tried to send a message to a member using the Contact button and after I typed in the message and clicked Send, it says "Your membership does not allow you to send messages"

What gives? Anyone help please.

up and away. The second admin can send no problem. Someone kindly advise what you think the problem is?

I tried something different by going into the admin side and clicked on Inbox on the admin home page and then responded to one of the emails and it all started to work again.

Very strange indeed. Not sure what triggered it to go off in the first place and not suggesting what I did was correct, but it seemed to have worked for now.

Just in case someone else runs into the same.
