Admin Dashboard SLOW LOADING

Hello everyone,

I am having trouble with the admin panel. When I go to e.g www.mysite.com/admin  then type in my password and user name it takes ages loading the dashboard/panel. It lags so long that the page is sometimes incorrectly displayed, in that images/words are sometimes missing aswell. I havent got a clue what is going on.

I installed Dolphin 6.1.6 previously on another website and everything worked fine and loaded fast, but now on this new website I installed Dolphin on the admin section is so slow, its like Im on a 56 K modem or something.

Could it be something wrong with the installation? or something to do with the file permissions?

Editing my site is rediculous sometimes!

Hello Joe563!

Possible problem in the RSS feeder of BoonEx news - may your server can't open external links. In 6.1.6 you can disable news by clicking corresponding link in the dashboard page.

I went into the Dashboard -> Site News

There was two large boxes with nothing inside,

I went into Dashboard -> Links Page

I deleted all the links

I went into Dashboard -> Admin Articles

There is only one Category and 2 Articles that I put in it

After all this, the problem still persists, could the "Admin Articles" be the issue?

When I installed this instance of Dolphin, I noticed that the "BoonEx News" section kept on loading for ages (Had the loading logo spining around and around) so I made this inactive under the page builder section of the homepage ( I done all this previous to the above)

Where can I disable the RSS Feed? Any file to delete, edit, change permission?
