Adding item in Member Menu not going to new page

Hi. I'd like to add an item to the "Member Menu" on the bottom right, as a pop-up and not going to a new page.

I created a HTML file which contains some CSS code. When I add a "New Item", name it, give it a language string, give it a sample icon, it does show up in the member menu but when I click it, it goes to a new web page.

I want it to pop up and allow for the member to pick things.

Does anyone know how this can be done?

Also, where are those icons all kept in the filesystem? the ones which the "Icon" item references? I can't seem to find them in the filesystem.

Thanks.

You will probably need to add to the script field a function that opens in a new popup window. For icons, check the font awesome list, as this is now where the majority of icons come from. Google font awesome.

Hi  Prof. Yes you are right, I checked the google font awesome list and added to "Icons" and it just worked. Thanks.

In regards to the script field, is this a function I need to create? or does Dolphin have one in-built I can use/modify?

Thanks again.

Check existing menu items. You can create your own. Not sure if using an existing function will work, but it might. Chech out the invite friends link in bottom menu.
