Adding Blocks

There is no problem i adding a html_block, but im not sure what to fill in the "Caption Lang Key" Field to make it work. I tried to copy another key(_bx_sounds_author), but it didnt work. When I add a new page there nothing else than "html block" and "RSS Feed". How do I make a new added block work as "Featured articles" ?

 In that field, you have the option to actually put what you want. i.e. "Advertisements" and save it. Most new people do it this way..

what you want to do is put in something like "_google_adsense"

then you navigate to Admin>Settings>Languages Settings

look right for "Add Key" enter the _google_adsense" then the wording you want like Advertisements and save then re compile the file.

Making blocks work like others is a bit harder, there is Deanos Block tools. That allows you to copy some blocks to other pages.

Otherwise you will need to study the site more and do some searching..

Ok a newbie question....compile? Is that the same as "saving" ? when I press "save" im not sure anything happens.. the box doesnt disappear

 Yes, you should see the language you added appear on the box where the block was placed
