Add Moderators

Hello, how can I add Moderators to the orca forum ?

Well, all i can tell you on this score is. I upgraded a trusted member on my dolphin to moderator status, via the admin panel. i expected something like you would get on a forum, where this member could edit other peoples posts, or comments, delete members photo's and stuff like that, But for the life of me i just cant see how making this member a moderator has made any difference, she cant do anything more than a member can do.

if I go to Users->Members and then i want change a status of member i can`t see status "moderator status".

but if I go Users->Moderators, I can there add moderators and he can login at yousite.com/moderators/... but he can`t moderate forum orca...

need help its very important

Orcan can not be moderated by individuals you set up as moderators in the Admin panel.  Orca must be moderated by those who have an admin login into your site.  This is why I integrated phpBB3 into my site.  It's just the short fall that Dolphin has.

A short fall, not being able to moderate a forum... thats like saying " I had a Trip, when i fell off a cliff" lol

Being able to moderate on task, without having to go into the admin is essential, and i know, ive been running forums for years, and all you need is one spammer and you have to get in there quick sharp, or you'll have a lot of clearing up to do afterwards.

These forums are ok for a mess around, but more thought should have gone into them. They almost feel like an after thought to me. I use mybb mostly now, but ive got an invision, and also a phpbb3, Mybb was desinged by 15 year olds, and its brilliant,in my opnion better than vbulletin, so i would have thought who ever did these forums would have been capable of a little more.

How can I find add-on or a modification that the specials users can moderate the orca forum ?

If you are going to start paying for mods for orca you might want to take his advice and use a differnt forum script.

I went with the free phpbb3 and esase intergration mod.

very thanks for you advise, but I have pay for the orca forum and I want use it... but how can I add moderators I am sure its possibly... but how ?

Well ive tried my hardest to add moderator to orca forum, and for all ive tried you just cant, it all has to be done from the admin panel

Bump:  Are there still no plans to fix this issue??!

Hopefully it will be fixed in dolphin 7, although i havent heard anybody mention this, and it is important if you intend to make full use of the forum on dolphin.
