This is the support forum for the Achievements mod.

Version 2.0.7 released. (See patches/version_2.0.7 folder in zip file)

Fixes issue with Achievements not being given for consecutive days logged in.

In which version did you make the code revision to resolve the memory issue... or in your words: "The mod is now re-written to use the alerts system. This solves the memory issue that you mentioned."

I currently have v2.0.5 installed on D7.0.9

 The Dolphin 7.1 version was re-written.

Added the ability to add custom categories for manually assigned achievements.

Added the ability to rename or delete existing categories.

Hi,

I'm getting thousands of error reports because I've deleted the dolphin groups.

I've upgraded my forums, uninstalled my Orca forum, but also had to install, groups, events, store, and something else I never used nor can remember.  As various other modules were depended on the orca forum which is slow and useless.

Can you fix this particular error so that it doesn't send so many reports on modules that don't exist?

@LikesDumbBimbos - Firstly, ensure that you have the latest version of the mod. Next, go to the admin section for the module and disable the achievements for modules that are not installed.

The "Number of posted comments" category doesn't seem to work on my website. Could you test it?

An issue has been fixed. The following file is updated :

modules\modzzz\achieve\classes\BxAchieveDb.php

Achievement Module  - This is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

This mod is updated with some changes for Dolphin 7.3.2 and above. Download again and re-upload the files.

Are there no file changes for the alert system now. I see the paragraph but no file edits?

NOTE : This mod uses the Alerts System to monitor site activity real-time and Award Achievements. However, there are three actions for which Alerts are missing (Adding Albums, Sending Greetings and Posting in Shoutbox). The file changes below will add these alerts to Dolphin. However, if you do not want to make any files changes, the mod will use a Cron Job process to Award the Achievements (this is not ideal though). If you choose to use Cron Job method, then go to the Admin Settings for the mod and turn off the option that says "I have made the core file changes".

So now we only use Cron Jobs?

@TruckingSpace - Boonex has now added the missing alerts in Dolphin core as of version 7.3.2 so no file changes are needed anymore.

I have further update the mod. For Dolphin 7.3.2 and above, re-download and check the upgrade folder for instructions.

Sorry to sound naive, but are the supplied achievements calculated automatically?  

it sounds like a "Too good to be true" and "something I must have" module.

 Yes, the functionality is automatic.

Has the Bxachievemodule.php been updated for 7.4.0 - 7.4.2?

Line 217 contains the depreciated code $iCurrCount = mysql_num_rows($rData);

I'm getting errors on PHP 7.2, but not on 5.6.
