About a mantenance question of my boonex website

Hi.

I have a boonex website and will need to recompile Apache/PHP now, PHP 4.x will be gone because it has reached end of life and cPanel does not support its installation now.

can proceed with it and you are fine with removal of PHP 4.x ? Does that not affect the work of my website ?

PHP 4 is ancient.  I'd recommend at least PHP 5.3.  Just make sure all the bells and whistles are included in the build.
