About Us: "Powered by Boonex" display issue

After updating the text for "About Us" in D7.1, all the text for About Us keeps showing at the bottom before the footer.  Plus, all the text keeps displaying as ALL CAPS even though it is not coded this way.  Finally "Powered by Boonex" keeps displaying in the "About Us" page even thought I have paid to have all links back to Boonex removed???

Can someone help me resolve these issues with the "About Us" D7.1 issue?

1. All of the text for "About Us" is displaying at the bottom of the site before the footer without clicking on the "About Us" link?
2. All the text in the displaying in the "About Us" page, about_us.php, is displaying in ALL CAPS without being coded this way?
3. After paying to have all links back to Boonex removed, "This site is powered by BoonEx Dolphin. The rest is a mystery." keeps displaying at the bottom of the "About Us" page, about_us.php?

This is a clean, fresh install of D7.1 with no customization at all.  So, there are no templates or modules causing this issue.  This is fresh from the D7.1 download at 7 p.m. EST today.

Best guess without a URL to your site is you must have not properly closed some HTML when you edited the About US content.

I did not have any of these issues with D7.0.9.  This issue happened with the fresh install of D7.1 tonight.  When I did the upgrade from D7.0.9 to D7.1, this issue did not happen.  It ONLY happened with a fresh install of D7.1 of a download at 7 p.m. EST from Boonex. 

This is the exact same code used in D7.0.9, that was copied and pasted into the About Us page.  So, the code is not the issue. 

What would cause all the text to display in ALL CAPS and the link back to Boonex.

 Unknown. I cannot replicate the problem.

You cannot say the code is not the issue. It's not D7.0.9, so it's entirely possible a improperly closed html tag may simply have not effected that versions output.

However, as i do not like to have my many years of experience insulted in this manner, i will back out of this one and ask you to see if you can reproduce the problem on boonexs demo site.

Given i am still recovering from the heart attack i had last sunday, i do not need this stress right now.

It looks to me like you edited the wrong language key based on what i see in your pic.

Looks like you changed the text for _About Us instead of _ABOUT_US

Whatever!!!  Don't dish it out if you can't handle it. 

FYI - I have Administered a PHPNuke/mySQL Website with numerous upgrades successfully for over 10 years without any of these issues and its still functioning perfectly to this day.  So, when I say it is not a simple html/css coding issue...its not!  There is something else wrong and I would appreciate some assistance instead of argumentative and antagonistic behavior. 

None of the other language files are generating this issue such as "Terms of Use" "Privacy" and/or "FAQ"...only the "About Us" php page.

Well read my last post. I figured out what you did wrong.

 Did you not read his last post for god sakes back off the guy just got back from the hospital and a heart attack.  No he probably can't take it right now nor should he have to don't stress him out back off... 

I am good. I figured out was was done wrong. Apparently she is also still playing with them. The wrong language keys are being edited.

_ABOUT_US_H is the page block header. Default text is About Us

_About Us is the link at the bottom. Default text is About Us

_ABOUT_US is the actual page content which she is compaining about. Default text is This site is powered by BoonEx Dolphin. The rest is a mystery.

It's just a simple matter of editing the correct language keys.

Try   _ABOUT_US    as lang string as stated above.

 
Yes. I answered it. Above your post. Your screen shot is showing two of the 3 language keys i mentioned. You need _ABOUT_US
