 Am I just not seeing either a 7.1 native or even a marketplace way to have profile pictures auto transition? I see plenty of splash page slider mods but have found no profile photo sliders which makes me wonder if maybe it's built in and I can't find the switch to turn it on. Help? |
Do you mean profile photos transitioning from one to the next; or perhaps a better word would be rotating from one profile photo to the next? No, as far as I know this is not built in nor have I seen a module in the Market for this. Usually one allows the member to set which profile photo they want displayed. To make it easier; although all a member had to do was go to manage and drag the photo they wanted as the profile photo to the beginning; the profile photo switcher was added (to hide it from any other member, a member just needs to set the privacy to "me only"). Correct, rotate through the various photos the member uploaded as part of the profile as was in 6.x versions. It made for a mini slideshow effect. But it appears you answered the question that it is no longer native as it was in 6.x Dolphin. If there was a mod, I would likely purchase it unless really expensive. Thanks for your reply. -g |
