ABILITY TO COMMENT ON INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS/PICTURES

One of the most requested features I am asked for by members is the ability to comment on individual photos/pictures in albums or posts.

I agree, at the 'soon to be no more' Multiply social networking site, it was easy to comment on an individual photo.  You could just comment on the album as at Dolphin or you could click on an individual picture within the album and comment specifically on that picture, a thumbnail of the picture would then display alongside that comment in the album so people knew exactly which picture was being talked about.  This is really important, the more pictures are in an album, the more confusing it gets.  "The picture of the woman in the blue dress with red hair, drinking a coffee/driving a forklift"  "No the one who also has a parrot on her shoulder!"

You can place a comment on an individual photo.  The view may be confusing.  When you are in an Album, the comment left is for that album.  When you go to view an individual photo of that album, the comments are just for that photo.  Perhaps the solution would be to remove the Album comment and just have comments for each photo; perhaps that would be less confusing.
