A "Map" for customizing

Hi All- I'm happy to see D7 working and looking good! I will be installing and customizing Dolphin 7 and wanted to know if there is a "map" available somewhere. It would make it really easy to be able to make changes in one area and know that I need to make those changes in other sections to match the initial change. Example, if I change the profile selection from male / female to business / consumer then I would also need to change the search function to match for business/consumer. Which is easy enough but I am finding there are soooo many goodies in D7 now that I am sure to miss something somewhere as I go along. If someone had a map to show where the crossovers are that would be an absolute treasure for me any maybe others as well. I don't know the technical lingo to explain myself any better, sorry about that, but I hope I was able to be clear about what I'm looking for. Thank you in advance! M

I did work with the 6.1 and customized for my kids skateboard site - like taking out all the dating stuff, etc.  The D7 is much larger in it's out of the box form and I am doing this for a business site.
