7.1 Final is here! Now, about those hidden replies

7.1 final is here; let the dancing begin.  Now, about those hidden replies that my members are constantly bitching about .... Seriously, members hate them, they miss the 1 replies (I miss the replies) and would rather that all comments left were just out in the open and not hidden.  If my members are complaining about them it is a good sign that it is a feature that shouldn't be implemented and that is exactly what I want to do, not implement hidden replies.  Is there anyone that can help here?

Before HL jumps on me, yes, I know this topic has been posted before.  The only solution anyone came up with was a halfway solution that would auto click on the expand button but that solution was only partial and it was an attempt at a work-around.  If there is code that hides the replies then it should be possible to simply not hide the replies in the first place.

Back when I first put up the Dolphin 7.0.9 test site one of the very first complaints was that replies were hidden and it was easy to overlooked them and I was asked to remove the hidden replies to comments.  I made an attempt to try and remove this annoyance with 7.0.9 but was too busy to devote much time to it.

Maybe Andrew will come by and see this post and ask the developer that coded this particular part of Dolphin to pass along to us commoners how and where so we can rip it out.

It was not a good idea to release the final...they should have released beta 3 and waited at least another month to fix those last bugs.....also they could have added an option to disable hidden replies in the Admin Panel...

Very unprofessional
