After updating b1to b2  I have not Conform display in the Outline and the link leads to a "Page was not found."

you should turn caching off before any upgrades, and also be sure to recompile from the modules section for the forums.

Quote · 6 Dec 2012

I followed the instructions precisely and had a flawless upgrade. Only thing I have to do is get an upgrade (small .css change) to my custom template. If experiencing issues, make sure you do every step here! No shortcuts!

And complile main language in Settings >> Language Settings >> Languages. Clear all caches before and after!

I tried to un-install the Polls and re-install Polls and re-compiled after clearing all caches to see if the problem would fix itself - now it tells me ACCESS DENIED when I try to add a new poll and this is at the admin level.

Quote · 6 Dec 2012

Are you positive all of the old files were overwritten when you uploaded them and ran the upgrade patch? Did you remove the upgrade/.htaccess file before running the upgrade?

Quote · 6 Dec 2012

Yes followed the instructions to the letter.  The Polls just isn't working right. Everything else seams to be fine. But got the same error that was first reported and then after un-installing and re-installing and re-compiling - I now have "access denied" when I try to add a poll.

The only thing different with the Polls was I did not have any Polls created before the upgrade  I had something in all the other modules - just not Polls. Wonder if that might have something to do with it?

Changed my php ver to from 5.3 to 5.2.* and worked.. strange..

There seams to be two different topics here. I though it was about the Polls not working.

I can confirm this same problem after my upgrade from B1 to B2. I followed each step in the instructions and I did have polls active before the upgrade. As in the screen capture provided in the first post of this thread's author, my polls show as just the letter "h" on the timeline and when you attempt to access them, you get directed to a Page Not Found error.

I was able to add to add a new poll. It seemed to save okay, but like the existing polls, showed as just the letter "h" in the timeline and takes you to a 404 error if you attempt to access it.

Polls are accessible from the poll creator's profile page. It seems the bug is in the timeline's display/link to the poll.

OK guys and Gals, recently I battled a "Page not Found" issue on my forums. I was running a SVN version later than ßeta 1. After trying everything suggested and everything under the sun, I stepped backwards from PHP 5.3.XX to PHP 5.2.17 and all my problems went away. This is not on every host's servers, but for a fact it is a problem on servers running suPHP under CGI.

Talk to your host and ask if running suPHP. If so, ask if they can move you to a server with FASTcgi and conventional PHP config. suPHP is the worst possible configuration for Dolphin. Regrettably, I am still on it but with PHP5.2.17 and all modules work.

This is the only problem I've had since upgrading to beta2.  Well, not exactly - I've had the same nightly cron database error in both beta1 and beta2.

My polls do not show up in the timeline at all, LOL. I do have them displayed in the right side column on the homepage and they display well there. The next update should have these last handfuls of bugs squashed. I am OK because the public debut of my site is not until May 3, 2013.

Ouch - thought you had all done something wrong with upgrade then tried to add a new poll!....

Outline shows -

h - 0%

click on the 'h' (which seems to replace the link to poll) and I get Page not found..

Did anyone find a fix for this yet or are we taking polls mod out of any public testing sites...!

I am getting the same error..., even polling system is not working properly, even nothing happened after selecting any option from the given answers...

This has been fixed, if your not into doing SVN pulls or other methods to retreve the file.

I have attached the file to upload until Beta 3 is released, this will correct the problem in the outline..

unzip the file and upload the "modules" folder to root and overwrite the original..

Of course after over writing the old file, don't forget to clear all site caches.

Thanks for the update Newton...!!!

Now outline section is working fine, but still poll section is not working properly, five members voted same answer for a poll, but it doesn't reflect that five members voted for this poll, however it is only showing that only 1 member answered for this poll. Even though if some one click on another option for the same poll, it does nothing.

Please see the attached screen shot.
