I just got news tonight that the 7.1.1 upgrade has broken my groups modules. I don't know if I am going to be able to upgrade Dolphin or not.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
The exact reason I'm always afraid to post anything here. When I do I try my best to choose my words carefully. And then I keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. Sorry to hear of your trouble GG :( |
I just got news tonight that the 7.1.1 upgrade has broken my groups modules. I don't know if I am going to be able to upgrade Dolphin or not. I have never done a dolphin upgrade. I stsrted with 7.0.3 and stayed with thag till .06, then stayed with that till 7.1.3, and now using 7.1.4. Although I do not keep notes I remember most of what I did so just did a fresh install and made changes each time. Upgrading scares me. caredesign.net |
Thank you HL for the music to soothe my woes. Geeks, making the world a better place |
Groups have three third party modules added; therefore, I have to figure out if one of those modules can be the source of the problem. I also added in the cross members block module as well because the built in Dolphin privacy is lacking; and Dolphin is suppose to be able to be used for a dating site where privacy is very important. All of the code changes were applied to the upgrade.
Oh, and this was posted in the Fun and Foo forum.
Tests shows that the owner of a group has no problem with the group. Plus, if a member of a group goes to a group they have no problem. It appears that if you go to a group that you are not a member of, the group will not load and the member's member bar won't load (and the groups are set as public). It applies to admin of the site as well as regular members. No messages load; such as access denied. The error console shows several javascript errors when the page does not load and they disappear when the group page does load.
