7.0.X

I wanted to download a module for my website but it said requirements were 7.0.X and I have 7.0 are they the same?

The X means it should work with any version of Dolphin 7.0 - from 7.0.0 to 7.0.9.  I emphasize the "should".

FULL VERSION. 7.0 as you specified is not the full version. Always go by your full version when you look for modules. 7.0 is not good enough.

The X normally means 0-9  so 7.0.x means its compatible with 7.0.0, 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3, 7.0.4, 7.0.5, 7.0.6, 7.0.7, 7.0.8, 7.0.9

EDIT: As Nathan pointed out. It should be. Best to message the developer to be sure. Messaging the developer is also a good way to test support response of the developer to make sure they are active.
