Just to be clear, what version of Opera is this?  They dropped Presto for Blink (Chromium) in version 14.

I have returned from holiday and was hoping to see some helpful information on how to resolve this issue.

What version of tinyMCE? I'm using 3.5.8.

I have version 23 of firefox, 28.0.1500.71 of Chromium, and  29.0.1547.65 of google chrome and they all work on my 7.0.9.

Safari 6.0.9 also.

The console does not provide any real help.  It just says TinyMCE is undefined and that is because it is not loaded.  It is the default version of TinyMCE and canvas_init that ships with 7.0.9.  Since it works in some browsers and not others I am guessing the issue is ignored in the browsers in which it works and not in Chrome and Opera due to the javascript interpreter; some conflict.  I tried to upgrade TinyMCE; and canvas_init and it was broken in FireFox.  So I reverted back.  I guess the only thing would be to remove all other javascripts from the page and then add them back one by one to see where it breaks.  Ugh.

Just to clarify (if you answered this already... just proves how much I need a coffee! Laughing)... does the same problem happen in a default install of D7.0.9, i.e. with minimum modules installed and no custom code modifications?  When I had a similar problem, Prashank and I compared my production site to a default Dolphin installation, where there were no issues, in order to solve matters... very carefully looking at the code differences.  In the end it was similar to what you're thinking... there was a typo in the TinyMCE template code that some browsers ignored and others didn't.  For those that didn't... TinyMCE didn't load completely.

Which files are you referring to?  I did upload the TinyMCE plugin from the 7.0.9 zip.  I will have to lookup where the TinyMCE init is for 7.0.9; unless you want to refresh my memory.  Maybe I should upload the default for that as well and see what happens.

We setup a separate default D7.0.9 site to use as a "baseline" for comparison testing... I'm suggesting you do the same.
