7.0.9 Admin Menu Issues

Fresh install of Dolphin 7.0.9.  I have issues with the admin menu.  The buttons/links outlined don't work.  What could be a possible cause?

I also notice that the Boonex News on the homepage just spins and that non of the login links works but the join button does.

And the settings page does not have the arrow thing; I can not open any of the settings sections.

I am wondering if I am missing something on the server or if it was just a bad upload of the files.

Javascript problems.

Try turning of js caching options.

Can I access that through the URL bar because I can not reach any of the settings.  I tend to do everything through the GUI. If I can not reach this through the URL, where in the database, I can access the database.

No. Try this phpMyAdmin query.

UPDATE `sys_options` SET `VALUE` = '' WHERE `Name` = 'sys_template_cache_js_enable';
UPDATE `sys_options` SET `VALUE` = '' WHERE `Name` = 'sys_template_cache_compress_enable';

Then manually clear the cache folder.

Now I am back to this again; notice there is no logon form.  I thought I had that fixed yesterday.  This server has gremlins.  There must be something wrong with it to have all these issues.  I would serious dump it and move the site to a new one but I don't really want to have to go through the set-up again.  No one offers LEMP, and Apache is an old man.  There is a reason the top 1000 sites in terms of traffic are running Nginx.

It may be a old man, but it's a stable, time tested, widely used, trusted and stable old man.

I refuse to use anything else.

I am also a sendmail person. It's a old man also, Postfix is the newer kid in town, but again, i choose not to use it.

I changed the auth type and was able to log into phpMyAdmin.

A lot of the big media streaming sites are using Nginx because it is just better at the new stuff that comes down the pipe.

The sql did the trick.  I guess 7.0.9 comes with those enabled.  I need to copy the sql you provided in case I need to do that for another site where I am locked out in the admin.

And thanks for the help Smile
