500 Internal Server Error During Install

Hi, I was following the instructions for installation, and had just reversed the permissions for the last few files (the last step).   I then deleted the install folder, and when I run my URL, I am getting this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@bigsmoove.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can anyone please assist me with this?   I am a newbie to Dolphin and do not know what I did wrong.  I can be emailed at acaffiero@gmail.com and IM'ed at daddy11ac (aol im)

Thanks to anyone in advance who can tell me who to contact for help.

Check your .htaccess file (in the root of your dolphin install). If there are any php instructions (usually at the top of the file) remove them. Some servers use suphp.exe for security purposes, any php instructions in .htaccess will cause a server 500 error. Any php instructions can be put into a php.ini file in the root of your dolphin install, dolphin does not have a php.ini file by default.

There are none so blind as those that will not see.

in .htaccess file try to comment or remove Options -MultiViews

this can help.

And if you are using Cpanel - you can find reason in error log section.
